**Job Description: Purchase/ Procurement Executive (Solar EPC Company)**

**Location: SG Highway, Ahmedabad**

**Job Summary**:
The **Purchase Executive** in a Solar EPC company manages the procurement of materials and equipment for solar projects. They handle vendor relationships, negotiate costs, ensure timely delivery, maintain inventory, and ensure compliance with regulations. Their role is crucial in sourcing quality materials efficiently to support project success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Procurement Planning**: Collaborate with teams to plan and procure materials for solar projects (e.g., panels, inverters, cables).
- **Vendor Management**: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and quality materials.
- **Purchase Orders**: Issue and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor stock levels and coordinate for material availability.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure procured materials meet the required specifications and standards.
- **Logistics Coordination**: Manage the timely delivery of materials to project sites and resolve any shipment issues.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, purchase orders, and invoices.
- **Market Research**: Stay updated on industry trends and new suppliers in the solar energy sector.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- **Experience**: 2-4 years in procurement, preferably in the solar, construction, or renewable energy sectors.
- **Knowledge**: Understanding of solar components (panels, inverters, etc.) and procurement processes.
- **Skills**: Strong negotiation, communication, and time management skills.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to resolve issues related to procurement and delivery delays.
