**1. Patient Care Responsibilities**
- **Initial Assessment and Diagnosis**:

- Examine patients, take medical histories, and perform initial diagnostic tests.
- Provide immediate care to patients presenting in the emergency room or wards.
- **Treatment Administration**:

- Prescribe medications and initiate treatment as per hospital protocols.
- Administer emergency care, such as CPR, wound dressing, or pain management.
- **Monitoring Patient Progress**:

- Monitor and document patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
- Adjust treatment plans as needed in consultation with senior doctors or specialists.

**2. Emergency Management**
- **Emergency Response**:

- Coordinate with emergency teams to stabilize patients.
- **Referrals and Escalations**:

- Refer critical cases to specialists or higher centers when necessary.
- Inform and update senior medical staff about serious cases.

**3. Coordination and Communication**
- **Interdepartmental Coordination**:

- Liaise with nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals for seamless patient care.
- Communicate with diagnostic and imaging departments for timely test results.
- **Patient and Family Communication**:

- Provide updates on the patient’s condition to their families in a clear and empathetic manner.
- Address patient or family concerns and explain treatment procedures.

**4. Administrative Duties**
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including medical histories, treatments, and progress notes.
- Ensure timely preparation of discharge summaries and referral letters.
- **Shift Handover**:

- Provide detailed updates to the incoming DMO or shift team about ongoing cases.
- **Compliance with Hospital Protocols**:

- Adhere to hospital guidelines, infection control protocols, and safety standards.
- Participate in quality audits or policy reviews if required.

**5. Training and Supervision**
- **Junior Staff Guidance**:

- Mentor and supervise interns or junior doctors during the shift.
- Provide instructions and oversight to nursing staff regarding patient care procedures.
- **Continuous Learning**:

- Stay updated on medical advancements and attend hospital training sessions or workshops.

**Key Skills Required**:

- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations, especially during emergencies.
- Proficiency in using hospital management systems and medical equipment.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
