Sales coordinators manage the flow of products or services to consumers by supporting the sales team and helping them achieve their goals. Their responsibilities include:

- Managing the sales team: Coordinating schedules, planning sales drives, and assigning territories and quotas
- Preparing sales materials: Creating and updating sales presentations, brochures, and posters
- Monitoring sales: Tracking sales team progress, quotas, and goals, and evaluating salespeople's performance
- Handling customer inquiries: Responding to customer questions and concerns, and offering after-sales support
- Processing orders: Preparing quotes, entering order information into the database, and ensuring orders are delivered on time
- Liaising with other departments: Working with marketing, research, design, and financing to optimize sales, and streamline processes to ensure timely delivery
- Generating reports: Creating and reviewing sales reports, and analyzing customer shopping data to identify potential customers and optimize sales efforts
- Training and hiring: Training new employees and hiring and firing sales team members as needed
- Managing budgets: Managing departmental budgets and maintaining files and databases
