**Job Title: Network Administrator L3**
**Job Summary**:
As a Network Administrator to responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of an organization's networks.
Primary objective will be to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the organization's IT infrastructure by overseeing network security, troubleshooting network issues, and optimizing network performance. You will collaborate with other IT professionals to support the overall technology needs of the organization.
**Experience**: 7 to 10 years of network engineering to meet the needs of expanding portfolio of services to client.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Network Design and Implementation:
Design and implement computer networks based on organizational needs.
Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to support network infrastructure.
**Network Security**:
Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's networks from unauthorized access, cyber threats, and data breaches.
Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with security policies.
**Network Troubleshooting**:
Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with end-users and other IT teams to troubleshoot and address connectivity and performance problems.
**Network Monitoring**:
Implement network monitoring tools to track network performance and identify potential issues proactively.
Respond to alerts and address emerging problems to maintain optimal network functionality.
**Hardware and Software Maintenance**:
Perform regular maintenance and updates on network hardware and software.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements as needed.
**User Support**:
Provide technical support to end-users related to network connectivity and related issues.
Assist in user training to enhance awareness of security and proper network usage.
**Documentation**:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Create network diagrams and keep records of hardware and software inventory.
**Collaboration**:
Collaborate with other IT professionals, including system administrators, security analysts, and helpdesk support, to address cross-functional IT issues.
Participate in planning and implementing IT projects that involve network infrastructure.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security principles, and best practices.
Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and network operating systems.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate - CCNA, CompTIA Network+, etc.) are a plus.
**Working Conditions**:
May require occasional after-hours and weekend work for network maintenance or issue resolution.
Work may involve some physical activities, such as lifting and installing network equipment.
