**Title: SCIENCE SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT- Secondary**

**Job Summary**: A leader who is in charge of ensuring the quality delivery of curriculum prescribed by the board and focusing on approaches required to enhance the student's knowledge and competencies

**Reports to**: HM

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning the curriculum
- breaking lessons month-wise, chapter-wise, and period-wise with identifiable learning outcomes suitable for each grade
- Ensuring the quality of teacher deliveries through continuous monitoring and mentoring
- Research instructional tools and strategies and add innovative approaches to the planner
- Assessing educational materials and planning their effective use
- Planning & implementing training/workshops for teachers
- Preparing blueprint, question paper, and answer key with marking scheme to objectively assess the progress of students
- Timely analysis to find out the gaps in learning and executing the right steps to fill the gaps
- Planning actions based on the performance and management evaluation

**Qualifications & Experience**:
Postgraduate in Science, and B.Ed. with a minimum experience of 5 years handling classes in secondary and senior secondary.

Experience in a leadership role is preferable

**Salary**: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month

- Bangalore City, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
