Physics Faculty School Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
1. Academic Responsibilities:
- Teach Physics to senior classes (Grades 8 -10) following the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessment tools that adhere to CBSE standards.
- Use innovative teaching methods to facilitate active learning and address diverse learning needs.
- Prepare students for board exams by conducting regular assessments, mock tests, and providing individualized support.
2. Coordination and Leadership:
- Oversee the academic and administrative functions of the senior school, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the Principal and other coordinators to implement academic policies, timetables, and school events.
- Lead the senior school faculty team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to enhance teaching practices and outcomes.
- Monitor and support teachers in maintaining academic records, lesson planning, and classroom management.
3. CBSE Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all academic and administrative activities comply with CBSE norms and guidelines.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of CBSE-related documents, including affiliation processes, board exam registrations, and student data management.
- Stay updated with CBSE circulars, examination guidelines, and curriculum changes, and communicate the same to faculty and students.
4. Student Management and Development:
- Monitor student performance and take necessary measures to support their academic growth.
- Counsel students on academic and career matters, helping them navigate their educational journey.
- Organize and coordinate co-curricular and extracurricular activities to promote holistic development.
5. Parent and Community Engagement:
- Regularly interact with parents and guardians to discuss students' progress and address any concerns.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and orientation sessions as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Physics with a B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of teaching experience in Physics at the senior secondary level, preferably in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Experience in a leadership or coordination role in an educational institution.
- In-depth knowledge of CBSE curriculum, exam patterns, and administrative requirements.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and work collaboratively with a team.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools for teaching and administration.
