**Reporting to**

**Purpose**

**Job duties and accountabilities Research**
- To analyse air quality data from different sources such as Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations, meteorological datasets, satellite observations, etc.
- To keep track of the air quality situation in Delhi during the winter of 2024-2025.
- To provide research content for the organisation's web pages, blogs, issue briefs, etc.
- To participate in relevant conferences, workshops, and training programmes for a comprehensive understanding of air quality management in India and globally Programme assistance.
- Assist with project implementation, including help with preparing presentations, factsheets and other communication material.
- To assist the team in working on multi-disciplinary projects, research writing and project development.
- Support efforts to use new media platforms for wide dissemination of CEEW's work and, in turn, closer engagement with the wider community.
- Support effective communication of research outputs, through close coordination with outreach.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and assist with preparing minutes.
- Support senior team members in important meetings and sessions, minutes of the meetings, and assist with follow-ups, as required.

**Selection Criteria Qualification**
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in science, engineering and allied fields.

**Work experience**
- Desirable - 0-6 months of experience in data science/programming.

**Key skills**
- Must be able to code, preferably in Python.
- Desirable - Experience with tools such as QGIS, ArcGIS, Google Earth Engine, etc.
- Must have strong written and communication skills for effective, efficient, and adaptive verbal and written communication, and active listening.
- Must have strong research skills - the capability to carry out systematic literature review, and familiarity with research methods is a bonus.
