Job Summary
- Responsible for managing administering the employee payroll and ensuring compliance and accuracy in monthly payroll activities
- Knowledge of basic accounting for preparation of salary JV’s and preparing payroll schedules on monthly ledger wise
- Good knowledge of Labor Laws, income tax rules, and various government reporting
- Prepare and process monthly statutory payroll payments such as Provident fund, professional tax, Income Tax & LWF
- Handle employee taxation matters, payroll tax deduction at source, TDS returns filing, TDS challan payments etc.
- Employee Query handling skills on payroll components and Tax related.
- Coordinate with Labor law consultant and related to government departments to carry out various compliance and resolve employee matters
- Preparing monthly, Quarterly & year end payroll statements
- Coordinating with auditors regarding payroll requirements
- Good Communication skills
- Strong analytical / problem solving abilities
- Strong computer skills MS word, Excel & powerpoint
