As an Architectural Draftsman, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of architectural plans, drawings, and technical documentation for construction projects. Working closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, you will translate conceptual designs into detailed drawings and specifications that guide the construction process. This role requires proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, strong technical skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Drafting and Design**:

- Create detailed architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and details using CAD software based on conceptual designs provided by architects.
- Incorporate design changes, annotations, and revisions into drawings as directed by project leads or clients.
- Ensure drawings adhere to established drafting standards, building codes, zoning regulations, and other applicable requirements.
- **Technical Documentation**:

- Prepare technical specifications, schedules, and material lists to accompany architectural drawings and support the construction process.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to integrate structural, mechanical, electrical, and other technical elements into architectural plans.
- Review and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and consistency with project requirements.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints.
- Participate in project meetings, providing input on design solutions, technical considerations, and coordination issues.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and external stakeholders to clarify requirements, address concerns, and resolve issues as they arise.
- **Quality Assurance and Compliance**:

- Perform quality checks on drawings and documents to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards and project specifications.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in drawings or specifications through careful review and coordination with project team members.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to architectural drafting and construction documentation.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar programs.
- Strong technical drafting skills, including the ability to create accurate and detailed drawings from architectural sketches or concepts.
- Knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, construction materials, and construction techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work well in a team environment and interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical issues or challenges.
