Data Center Admin

**1. Virtual Infrastructure Management**
- Deploy, configure, and manage virtual environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).
- Monitor virtual machine performance and optimize resources for maximum efficiency.
- Plan and implement system upgrades and patches with mínimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot issues within the virtual infrastructure and ensure high availability.

**2. Storage Management**
- Oversee the configuration and maintenance of enterprise storage solutions (SAN/NAS).
- Perform capacity planning and ensure efficient data storage utilization.
- Manage backup and recovery systems, including disaster recovery planning.
- Monitor storage health and address performance bottlenecks or failures.

**3. Physical Server Administration**
- Install, configure, and maintain physical servers, ensuring hardware integrity and compatibility.
- Perform hardware diagnostics, repairs, and replacements as required.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including firmware upgrades and system checks.
- Maintain hardware inventory and manage vendor relationships for support and warranties.

**4. Firewall and Security Management**
- Configure, monitor, and maintain firewalls to ensure network security and compliance.
- Create and manage firewall rules and VPN configurations.
- Implement security protocols and monitor for potential threats or vulnerabilities.
- Respond to and mitigate security incidents effectively.

**5. Monitoring, Reporting, and Documentation**
- Set up and maintain system monitoring tools to ensure uptime and performance.
- Generate reports on system health, usage, and incidents for management review.
- Document all processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and standard operating procedures.

**6. Collaboration and Support**
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure-related projects.
- Provide Level 3 support for escalated issues and guide junior team members.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers for troubleshooting and upgrades.

**Requirements**:
**Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft Azure Administrator, CCNA/CCNP, or CompTIA Server+.

**Technical Skills**
- Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Proficiency with storage systems (NetApp, Dell EMC, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of server hardware (HPE, Dell, Lenovo, etc.).
- Experience with firewall solutions (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, etc.).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds).
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:

- System uptime and availability metrics.

- Successful execution of backup and disaster recovery drills.

**Work Environment**:

- On-site presence in the data center is required.
- Occasional after-hours work for maintenance and incident resolution.
- Availability for on-call support during critical issues.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
