Position Summary:
Responsible for effective execution of all legal and contractual matters relating to the STEER Group, including:
1. Business and Commercial laws, including customer and supplier contracts, commercial terms and conditions, invoices, policies, etc.

2. IP & patent laws & Know-how including prosecution, administration & out licensing of the same.

3. Patent licensing knowledge.

4. Any other legal matters from time to time. and must visit government offices and courts to support the matter.

5. Strong strategic thinking with a keen eye for business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Associate will be responsible for providing legal advice to the organization’s business units, including research and development, marketing and sales. This can include providing guidance on regulatory compliance, intellectual property and contract negotiation.
- Legal associate will be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts with vendors, suppliers, and other parties. This can include agreements related to clinical trials, research and development and manufacturing.
- Intellectual Property management and mapping: The pharmaceutical industry relies heavily on intellectual property, and in house legal associate will be responsible for managing the organization’s intellectual property portfolio.
- Regulatory Compliance: The pharmaceutical industry is heavily regulated, and in house legal associate must be familiar with regulatory compliance requirements to ensure that the organization complies with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Legal associate will be responsible for managing litigation or other legal disputes. This can include working with outside counsel, managing discovery requests, and drafting legal briefs.
- Legal associate will be responsible for identifying and managing legal risks for the organization, including conducting risk assessment and developing risk management strategies.
- Legal associate will be responsible for preparing training and education to the steer group members on legal topics such as regulatory compliance, intellectual property and contract negotiation.
- Assess the legal and contractual positions stated in proposed major contracts and provide insights to make the position viable for the organization.
- Helping the team in in-licensing and out-licensing for the IPR and seeking benefit to the Organization.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹200,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
