Job Description
- The purpose of SACM is to Identify, control, record, report, audit and verify service assets and configuration items, including versions, baselines, constituent components, their attributes, and relationships.
- Responsibilities and Activities '¢ Ensure that the SACM process is Fit for Purpose
- Responsible for the process design
- Perform reconciliation activities to maintain the accuracy of CMDB based on various discovery data.
- Monitor and track the KPI.
- Interacting with different stake holders to get the missing information of CI
- Co-ordination with Vendor/suppliers/Data owners to achieve results as per the SLA defined
- Monitor, review and approve Change/Tasks assigned, within the time frame as per set SLA.
- Manage any new requirements or changes to the Process
- Discovery Knowledge on identifying the gaps using Service Now & Remedy (ADDM) Knowledge of Hardware Asset Lifecycle.
- SLIM is a plan to help you monitor and maintain all your organization various software licenses.
- Taking responsibility for the validity of software compliance position
- Primary Skills
- Experience in IT Assets and Configuration Management
- Experience in CMDB and Service Now tool.
- Knowledge on SAM/HAM
- Secondary Skills
- Having knowledge and understanding of the major software publishers (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, Symantec, IBM/Lotus, Citrix, SAP and other major vendors) licensing programs and their associated licensing terms and conditions in contracts.
- Proficient Microsoft office skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook and web usage.
- Must be self-motivated, organized, proactive and able to source solutions through alternate means
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
