- Provide therapy to improve physical function, motor skills, or cognitive abilities.
- Recommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment (e.g., wheelchairs, ergonomic tools).
- Modify home, school, or work environments to accommodate patient needs.
- **Education and Support**:

- Educate patients and families on strategies to manage conditions and promote independence.
- Offer guidance on coping strategies and mental health support when appropriate.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other healthcare professionals (e.g., physical therapists, doctors, social workers) to provide comprehensive care.
- Communicate with schools, employers, or caregivers to ensure patients’ environments support therapy goals.
- **Documentation and Administration**:

- Maintain detailed patient records, including progress reports and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and insurance requirements.

**Educational Requirements**:

- Bachelor Or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- State licensure or certification (varies by location).
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), if requir
