**Job Descritpion of Mechanical Designer**:
4 to 9 Years Relevant Experience

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components for turbo machinery products including gas turbines and steam turbines.
- Interpret and analyze customer requirements, ensuring alignment with TCS processes and standards.
- Create detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for rotor and stator components, as well as full product assemblies using Siemens NX.
- Review and validate 3D models and technical drawings for accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
- Collaborate across engineering teams to derive critical product requirements and design considerations.
- Work with Teamcenter for PLM activities including documentation, revisions, and version control.
- Incorporate manufacturing techniques such as casting, forging, and fabrication into the design process.
- Communicate regularly with customers in accordance with TCS protocols to provide updates and gather feedback.
- Adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and project requirements to meet defined performance metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in mechanical product design for turbo machinery, especially gas turbines and steam turbines.
- Proficient in Siemens NX for 3D modeling and drawing generation.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, solid modeling, and mechanical drafting standards.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter or similar PLM systems.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes including casting, forging, and fabrication.
- Ability to interpret complex technical requirements and convert them into detailed mechanical designs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in cross-functional and customer-facing environments.
- Fast learner with a results-driven mindset and attention to detail.
