**Principal duties and responsibilities are**:

- Design, Build and implement the highly available, quality database system(s) as per each end users’ specific requirements and views.
Defining users, roles and enabling the data distribution to the right user(s), in suitable format and on timely manner.
- Ensure the Database is available 24/7. The end goal is to provide seamless flow of information throughout the organization.
- Minimise the database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses proactively
- Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
- Perform tests, evaluations regularly and schedule to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
- Mentor, train the developers to optimize the queries.

**Qualifications and requirements are**:

- Proven working experience as a Database Administrator
- Excellent knowledge of data backup, clustering, mirroring, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
- Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding
- Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools
- Familiarity with programming languages API
- Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically
- Bachelor or higher degree in a computer science and engineering discipline or relevant certification.
- Experience in handling diversified database managements systems such as MSSQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL etc are mandatory.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
