Forklift Operator

The Forklift Operator in the Printing and Packaging Industry is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies throughout the warehouse or production facility. This role ensures the smooth flow of materials to and from production lines, packaging areas, and shipping zones, supporting the overall manufacturing and distribution process.

**Required Education : 10th Pass with 3 to 5 Years Experience as Forklift Operator with Forklift Driving License.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Forklift Operation**:

- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials, including paper, printing equipment, packaging components, and finished products.
- Ensure the safe handling and movement of materials within the warehouse and production areas.
- Transport items to designated storage areas, workstations, or loading docks.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Assist in inventory management by accurately counting, labeling, and storing materials.
- Perform routine stock checks to ensure inventory levels are maintained and discrepancies are reported to management.
- Ensure materials are stored according to industry standards to prevent damage or degradation, especially for sensitive products like printed materials.
- **Loading and Unloading**:

- Load and unload trucks and containers, verifying product counts and ensuring proper documentation is provided.
- Ensure proper stacking, securing, and protection of materials to prevent product damage during transport.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and following safe lifting techniques.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklifts and other material-handling equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Report any safety hazards, damaged equipment, or unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.
- **Production Support**:

- Deliver materials to the production lines and packaging areas in a timely manner to meet production schedules.
- Ensure materials are available when needed, minimizing downtime and delays in the printing or packaging process.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse to optimize storage space and facilitate easy access to frequently used materials.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of materials moved, received, and shipped, and ensure that the necessary documentation accompanies all transactions.
- Complete daily logs of forklift operations, including hours of operation, maintenance checks, and safety reports.
- Communicate with the warehouse and production teams to ensure all material-handling needs are met.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the warehouse, production, and quality control teams to ensure smooth operations and timely material movement.
- Assist in training new forklift operators and other team members on warehouse procedures and equipment use.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
