**IT Security**: Understanding hardware security principles and practices to implement measures that protect hardware assets and prevent unauthorized access.

**Networking**:Knowledge of basic networking concepts, such as TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls. Understanding network infrastructure is crucial for proper hardware integration.

**Vendor Management**: Skill in managing relationships with hardware vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring prompt resolution of hardware-related issues with external suppliers.

**IT Asset Management**: Proficiency in tracking and managing hardware assets, including inventory control, auditing, and asset lifecycle management.
