Translate business needs to technical specifications
Configure, Design, develop, build and deploy BI reports (Adhoc and scheduled)
Proficient in redirecting the output to XLS, CSV, PDF, bursting along with Scheduling options.
Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
Support and maintenance of existing reports in BI Publisher
Develop and support SOAP based web-services exposed for BI reports
Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
Develop and update technical documentation
Develop and support ETL jobs and scheduled jobs in the Oracle database
Support performance tuning and data mining activities using ETL jobs

**Requirements**:
Proven experience as a BI Developer i.e. Min 3 years of experience working with Oracle reporting tools like BI Publisher and OBIEE. Industry experience is preferred
In-depth knowledge of PL/SQL and SQL is mandatory along with good understanding of Oracle DBA activities
Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Understanding of Unix shell scripting and any scheduler tools will be preferred
Exposure with financial reporting and banking domain will be considered positive
Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
