**Roles & Responsibilities**:
We are looking for a File Transfer Specialist who will be responsible for
- Working directly with the client and the service team to ensure smooth setup of Data Axle's file transfer system, making recommendations and working through all technical issues as needed.
- Determining and pursue implementation of potential efficiencies in systems and processes.
- Assuring consistency of data transfer procedures, processes, and QC standards throughout.
- Recommending enhancements to processing features and functionality in response to client needs.
- Acting as technical liaison between client services and client.
- Working proactively and communicating directly with the Account Team Manager regarding standard operating procedures or client support.
- Trouble-shooting all file transfer issues with internal and external customers.
- Directing internal customer contact and support is required daily.
- Performing other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

**Working Hours & Holiday Schedule**:

- This role requires you to work in shifts.- Shift timings: 4:30 PM IST to 1:30 AM IST.
- 5 US holidays + 5 India holidays.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Associate's degree in computer related field or equivalent is required.
- 1 to 2 years computer experience is required.
- Mainframe and advanced computer experience is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with internal and external contacts, while maintaining confidentiality in all related discussions.
- Must have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively across teams.
- Team player with ability to work independently.
- Organization and prioritization skills. Must be flexible and able to re-prioritize projects.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
- Self-starter with attention to detail.
- Ability to successfully prioritize and handle multiple deadline-driven projects simultaneously.
- Comprehensive understanding of SFTP/FTP requirements, encryption and well-versed with FTP replies and commands.
- Strong knowledge of FTP data structures, File structures, record structures, and page structures.
- Knowledge and experience with one or more PC data editors, such as Ultra Edit.
- Expertise in data formats, data analysis and data reformatting.
