We are looking to hire an “Assistant Manager, Procurement - Fragrances & Flavors & Personal Care Innovations
Handling procurement operations of fragrances & flavors, and negotiate competitive contract terms with suppliers for market managed materials, to fulfil demand of these raw materials for Homecare and Personal Categories at most optimal cost and on-time in full. Coordinate with Cross functional teams on RM / PM formats changes and new product developments for personal care.
Key Accountabilities:
- (Please describe the responsibilities and end results that would be expected.)_- Handling procurement operations Fragrances & Flavors with spend of over 120 million Euros. Includes both locally sourced and imported materials- Negotiate contract terms with suppliers and traders for local market team managed materials- Understand short term and long-term demand of materials. Liaise with Suppliers and Unilever global buyers to fulfil it. Fix capacities with suppliers looking at the annual plans- Liaise with Planning, Factory, R&D, Quality team on regular basis to ensure 100% service- Ensure Contracts are updated by all specialty chemicals & fragrances buyers in Unilever contracting system (iCAT/CLM), basis which Purchase Orders to be released by factory teams- Work closely with the R&D and Supply Chain teams to support launch of innovation products and drive cost-savings- Cordinate with Cross functional teams on RM / PM formats changes and new product developments for personal care.- Actively drive cost-saving ideas through alternate supplier development and negotiating with existing suppliers for local market team managed materials- Identify and develop alternate suppliers for specialty chemicals for resilience and localisation- Align suppliers to Unilever ways of working and ensure adherence to required compliances- Implement and drive Unilever procurement strategies- Drive Cost, Cash, Service and Quality targets
Professional Skills:

- preferred.)_- Experience in Procurement or Supply Chain. Procurement Experience (preferred)- Working knowledge of Inventory management and Negotiation- Proficient in usage of MS-Excel / Powerpoint. SAP Experience (ideal)- Experience in leading team and working with cross-functional teams- Good Stakeholder management skills- Basic Financial acumen- Good communication skills
