**Role Definition (Job Description)**:
- Formulation of nursing service philosophy and its implementation across the group
- Managing the Nursing manpower as clinical and administrative head of Nursing staff of the Ivy group through various clinical and administrative nursing heads.
- Planning of Nursing Manpower across the group.
- Work in close association with HR department to ensure the recruitment of Nursing staff in terms of assessment.
- Managing any crisis, absenteeism effectively and efficiently
- Direct, oversee and evaluate all nursing personnel.
- Ensure all staff enrolled are registered with state nursing council.
- Guide staffing procedures
- Set objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department
- Organize and coordinate admission, nursing and patient care procedures
- Develop and enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high quality standards
- Control budgets and monitor expenditures
- Resolve issues and deficiencies when needed
- Manage record-keeping procedures
- Collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operations
- Checks and ensures that nurses are assigned as per their capabilities and the acuity of staff
- Checking of the duty rosters and ensuring the implementation through various heads
- Anticipates and resolves conflicts in a positive and constructive manner
- Develops positive rapport with team members by encouraging constructive relationships; respects, appreciates team effectiveness skills by acting for the good of the team.
- Monitors, evaluates and communicates nurse sensitive indicators and processes that are focused on the unique and diverse needs of individuals and target patient populations
- Demonstrates critical thinking skills by using sound judgment in identifying and analyzing problems and recommending solutions.
- Ensures that nursing staff are trained and monitored on various nursing procedures and wells as on various communication and organizational behavior practices.
- Train and ensure nursing staff are well groomed and well mannered.
- Ensures all policies and procedures are implemented by nursing staff as per the requirement of NABH/NABL.
- Coordinating with other departmental heads.
