**Job Title: Nursing Staff**

**Location: Guru Nanak Charitable Hospital Dehlon, Ludhiana**

**Department: General Ward, Private Rooms, Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit (ICU)**

**Reports to: Nursing Superintendent**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**General Ward**:

- Monitor and record vital signs and patient progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, feeding, and mobility.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about ongoing care and discharge instructions.

**Private Rooms**:

- Provide personalized care tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Facilitate communication between the patient, family, and healthcare team.
- Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Manage patient care plans and update records accordingly.

**Emergency Department**:

- Triage patients and prioritize care based on severity.
- Perform initial assessments and emergency interventions.
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during critical situations.
- Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately.

**Intensive Care Unit (ICU)**:

- Monitor critically ill patients and provide continuous care.
- Operate and maintain life support systems and specialized equipment.
- Administer complex medications and treatments.
- Perform regular assessments and report changes in patient condition to the medical team.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and develop care plans for ICU patients.

**Qualifications**:

- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (M.Sc. B.Sc. Nursing/GNM) preferred.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in a hospital setting. (Freshers may also apply)
- Preferred BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.

**Working Conditions**:

- Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to handle long hours and demanding patient care tasks.
- Exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
