**Urgent requirement for Commies chef**

**Section - Continental, cold kitchen**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Food Preparation**: Prepare, cook, and present a variety of Continental dishes, including cold starters, salads, and other cold items.
- **Kitchen Maintenance**: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, follow health and safety regulations, and ensure equipment is properly used and maintained.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor stock levels, assist in ordering ingredients, and ensure all food items are correctly stored and discarded when expired or spoiled.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure food is prepared to the highest standards, with proper portion sizes, garnish, and presentation.
- **Team Support**: Assist senior chefs and collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Previous experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a Continental or cold kitchen setting, is often required.
- **Skills**: Basic knife skills, knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, and strong teamwork abilities are essential.
- **Education**: A diploma or certification in culinary arts is often preferred.
