**Position Overview**

The Student Counselor for Admissions is responsible for guiding prospective students through the enrollment process, from initial inquiry to course selection and fee payment. This role demands effective communication skills (in both English and Hindi), strong organizational abilities, and a customer-centric approach. The counselor will also manage demo sessions for new students, keep track of fees, and address any concerns that existing students may have.

**Key Responsibility Areas**

**Student Counseling on Choice of Subjects and Fee Structure**:

- Counsel prospective students on suitable music, dance, and theatre programs based on their interests and goals.
- Clearly articulate fee structures, payment plans, and any available financial arrangements.
- Provide detailed information on course content, faculty expertise, and certification pathways.

**Coordinating Demo Sessions and Gathering Feedback**
- Schedule and organize demo classes or trial sessions in music, dance, and theatre for new or interested students.
- Collect feedback post-demo to gauge student interest and identify areas for improvement.
- Follow up with prospects to enhance the likelihood of enrollment conversions.

**Lead Generation of New Students with Tele-Calls**
- Conduct telephonic outreach to potential leads obtained from various sources (website, walk-ins, referrals).
- Maintain comprehensive records of calls and follow-up actions to track progress and ensure conversions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize lead generation strategies and campaigns.

**New Student Registrations and Renewal Registrations**
- Oversee the enrollment process for new students, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted.
- Facilitate course renewals and re-registrations for existing students, maintaining accurate enrollment records.
- Update and manage student data within the admissions CRM or relevant platforms.

**Invoicing and Tracking of Student Fees**
- Generate invoices and maintain detailed fee records for all new and renewing students.
- Track deadlines for payments and promptly follow up on any pending fees.
- Work in tandem with the finance department to resolve any invoicing or payment discrepancies.

**Counseling and Troubleshooting Issues for Existing Students**
- Act as the first point of contact for students experiencing academic or administrative challenges.
- Provide immediate support or direct them to the appropriate department (e.g., faculty or finance) as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and a supportive environment to foster student success and retention.

**Quality of Lead Generation**
- Number of high-quality leads generated and conversion rates.

- Positive feedback from students and parents regarding the demo experience.

**New Student Registrations**
- Total number of new enrollments achieved monthly/quarterly.

**Salary**
- **Fixed**: INR 15,000 to 25,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)
- **Variable**: Mix of commission and performance-based bonuses, tied to lead generation, enrollment targets, and student satisfaction.

**Qualifications and Skills**

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

**Experience**:

- 2-3 years of experience in admissions counseling, customer service, or a sales-oriented role (experience in performing arts or educational institutions is a plus).

**Languages**:

- Fluency in English and Hindi, both spoken and written.

**Technical Proficiency**:

- Familiarity with CRM/admissions software is advantageous.
