**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine assembly requirements.
- Assemble and install mechanical components, parts, and equipment, including pipes, valves, pumps, and structural elements.
- Perform precision fitting, cutting, welding, and machining operations to ensure proper alignment and fit of components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to accurately fabricate and assemble parts.
- Inspect finished assemblies and conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues, diagnose problems, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments, to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
- Adhere to safety procedures, guidelines, and regulations to maintain a safe work environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
- Collaborate with other team members, engineers, and supervisors to achieve production goals and deadlines.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional vocational training or certification in mechanical fitting preferred.
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of mechanical principles, techniques, and practices related to assembly, installation, and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects as required.
