**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care, including taking vital signs and conducting intake assessments.
- Provide medical administrative support by managing electronic health record (EHR) systems and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and assist with basic life support when necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various settings including urgent care, internal medicine, and surgical departments.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medical-surgical practices to enhance patient care.
- Support patients through their healthcare journey by providing exceptional service and addressing their needs effectively.
- Participate in the management of patients in both outpatient clinics and inpatient settings, including Level I and Level II trauma centers.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred, with exposure to dermatology, urgent care, or emergency medicine being advantageous.
- Familiarity with EHR systems is essential for maintaining accurate patient records.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding practices is required.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics and pediatrics (PICU) is beneficial.
