Drama School Mumbai (DSM) was founded in 2013 to forge a new generation of theatermakers who will go on to redefine the theatrical landscape in India. With a robust curriculum and a collaborative pedagogy developed by India’s best theatermakers, DSM has produced over 200 alumni who are now active as actors, directors, producers, and trainers in theatre, film, television, and other mediums.

**Role Overview**:
The Course Advisor at DSM plays a pivotal role in guiding prospective students from their initial inquiry to final enrollment. This role involves direct engagement through calls, webinars, auditions, and workshops, as well as handling inquiries related to scholarships and course details. Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, the Course Advisor is responsible for converting leads into successful enrollments while ensuring a seamless experience for prospective students.

**Key Roles & Responsibilities:1. Student Engagement & Counseling**:

- **Needs Assessment**:Assess the aspirations and needs of prospective students to offer personalized advice on suitable courses and opportunities at DSM.
- **Follow-Up**:

- Engage with attendees after webinars, workshops, or any other initial interactions to address any further questions and guide them through the next steps in the admissions process.

**2. Webinars & Workshops**:

- **Workshop Facilitation**:Assist in organising and conducting workshops, both online and in person, designed to give prospective students a taste of DSM’s teaching methods and curriculum.

**3. Auditions & Application Process**:

- **Audition Preparation**:Provide tips and resources to help applicants prepare for their auditions, including guidance on monologue selection and performance techniques.

**4. Scholarships & Financial Guidance**:

- **Financial Counseling**:Offer basic financial guidance to prospective students, discussing payment plans and loan options to help them manage the financial aspects of their education.

**5. Lead Conversion & Enrollment**:

- **Enrollment Targets**:Work towards individual and team targets for student enrolments, providing regular updates to the Recruitment Manager on progress and challenges.
- **Daily Activity Targets**:Ensure 45 to 50 connected calls are made daily, focusing on achieving 5 to 6 strong prospects.
- **CRM Management**:Maintain accurate records of all interactions with prospective students in the CRM system, ensuring data is up-to-date and accessible for reporting and analysis.

**6. Reporting & Feedback**:

- **Daily Reporting**:Share the day’s work summary and the calling report with the Recruitment Manager by the end of each day.
- **Feedback Collection**:Gather and relay feedback from prospective students about their experiences with DSM’s outreach efforts, helping to refine strategies and improve processes.

**7. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement**:

- **Team Collaboration**:Work closely with other team members, including the marketing team and fellow course advisors, to ensure a unified approach to student recruitment.
- **Professional Development**:Participate in ongoing training and development to stay informed about DSM’s evolving programs, industry trends, and best practices in student counseling and telecalling.

**Key Requirements**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably in Arts, Humanities, or a related discipline.
- **Experience**: 2-4 years of experience in sales, counseling, or a related role, with experience in educational services or high-ticket sales preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage and build rapport with prospective students.
- Goal-oriented with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Proficient in CRM tools and webinar platforms.
- Deep understanding and passion for the performing arts and education.

**Reporting to**:Recruitment Manager

**Working Hours**:

- Full-Time Monday-Friday and two Saturdays will be working.
- Compensatory leaves will be provided if you are asked to work on a company holiday.
