**Responsibilities**:

- Bid Support (50%):

- Prepare cost database for recurrent spend or standard products and services
- Have Monthly Review of Tender List between Tendering Manager and SCM to determine need
- for tender support in terms of cost
- Attend Tender kick off meetings and Review SCM related critical tender information such as:

- Scope of Works
- Competition Overview
- Key contractual/tender conditions
- Work package overview
- Work out Tender budget and target prices and timelines
- Identify vendors based on APPSIL approved vendor and Customer Approved Vendor lists
- Align tender sourcing strategy with category management
- Review provided scope details and engineering proposal of suppliers with nominated category managers and strategic buyers.
- Prepare Preliminary Tender Sourcing Plan and have a preliminary review of work package with
- bid manager.
- Review with Engineering, Quality and Category Manager
- Ensure all scope is considered and broken down into RFQs aligned with likely order packages
- Define which suppliers to be considered for RFQ in execution
- Define which supplier qualifications must be initiated
- Define for which work packages tender budget information is missing/misaligned and request
- budget adjustment
- Review existing target price levels
- RFQ and Supplier Screening Process
- Request RFQ relevant Specifications from bid manager
- Issue RFQ to supplier Ask for price breakdown:

- per unit
- spare parts
- commissioning / supervision
- transport
- Get offers as per deadline of tender
- Evaluate bid formally, commercially and lead time and identify needed clarifications and optimization
- Check price, scope and currency is according to budget / target price and lowest possible cost with quality and delivery in mind
- Direct Cost as per Tender Sourcing Plan
- Negotiate price as per tender budget, last procurement data and do cost analysis
- Negotiate terms and conditions as per tender/customer specific terms and conditions back-to-back
- Identify and agree on supplier and their price to be considered with Tender team
- Formalize SCM Input to Risk Review - identify main risks & opportunities and preparation of presentation in power point.
- Review FCM for Supply pricing & MIS Reporting
- Review FCM for completeness and accuracy in relation to Tender Sourcing Plan and approve FCM from SCM side
- On standby to support further requests from Tender lead to win business
- Tender sourcing plan
- Risk review related presentations on tender sourcing plan
- Tracking tender support related KPI s like TCI is correctly reported in tender and execution stage
- Supply Chain - Fabrication/Panel (50%):

- Purchase of fabricated panels for CRP, RTU, SAS, SUX, PLCC, FOTE products from suppliers
- Handling of Powder coating of purchased panels from suppliers.
- Purchase of mounting plates and blanking plates of panels
- Purchase of miscellaneous items for panels
- Handling and getting IP type test certificate for third party lab for panels as and when required.
- Handling of rework in manufactured panels related to fabrication & powder coating
- Manage and control panels suppliers in terms of allocation, price, scheduling etc
- Production Planning, Capacity planning, Production scheduling, control of production activities for
- Fabrication of panels, mounting plates, blanking plates, miscellaneous items of suppliers.
- Main KPI- Revenue, Inventory, Rework, FPY, OTD
- Monthly reporting, analysis, optimize, improvement on KPI
- HSE Compliance as per Hitachi Energy Norm
- Identify and drive continuous improvement projects & supplier audits

Your background
- Required skill sets preferable, Tendering, Contracts, SCM, Collaboration
- Planning, Capacity planning, Scheduling of jobs, decision making, drafting, communication, analytical & logical thinking, SAP knowledge, Experience on PS, MM, SD module, Team work, CAD, CAM knowledge, correct interpretation of Engg drawings, Knowledge of fabrication process, Knowledge of 7 tank and powder coating process.
- Educational Qualification Preferable, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, ideally in Electrical/E& C/Mechanical/Industrial Production/ Engineering
- Min 10 years overall experience of which min 5 years of professional experience and proven track record as bid supporting SCM or strategic sourcing specialist, ideally in project businesses environment with complex and customized products or systems
- Very good Office 365 skills
- Result-oriented and professional in communication with suppliers and internal stakeholder
