**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**

**Financial Reporting**:

- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.

**Accounting Operations**
- Manage the day-to-day accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.

**Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Develop, monitor, and update financial budgets and forecasts.
- Perform variance analysis to identify areas of improvement and cost control.

**Compliance and Audit**:

- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including GST, Income Tax, and other financial regulations.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate provision of required documentation.

**Financial Controls**:

- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
- Conduct periodic reviews to ensure adherence to internal controls and identify any areas of risk.

**Cash Flow Management**:

- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
- Oversee treasury functions and manage banking relationships.

**Team Management**:

- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

**Financial Analysis**:

- Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support business initiatives and projects.
- Evaluate financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in [industry].
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).
- Advanced MS Excel skills and ability to handle large data sets.
