As part of this role, you will provide high level administrative support for the Group Pensions team, with autonomy over workload to meet business needs. Undertakes a wide range of administrative activities and resolves queries. May include working with other teams (internally and externally), delegating and monitoring to ensure tasks are delivered.

**The role**
- Perform the Group Pensions responsibilities for following annual exercises for specific countries ( including communicating with members, collating data to share with Payroll and outsourced provider so that contributions are paid on time and within limit)
- Provide the global actuary with pensioner, deferred and member data needed for the annual FRS 102 accounting exercise. Carry out necessary data collection, review and analysis. Answer and resolve follow-on queries relating to data quality.
- Calculate unfunded pension benefits for those with part funded pension being paid by overseas payroll teams. Communicate with payroll teams these amounts to enable correct benefits to be paid and cross-charged.
- Gather, review and analyse annual FRS 102 cashflow data using various data sources. Validate data and resolve any queries with Payroll teams. Provider global actuary with accurate data as part of the FRS 102 exercise. Answer and resolve follow-on queries relating to data quality.
- Assist in gathering non-pension FRS related scheme design information, working with outsourced provider and HR teams as required. Update data matrix and share necessary data with global actuary to enable them to carry out their FRS 102 calculation.
- Provide required accurate and timely data/information to relevant local actuaries so they can carry out FRS 102 calculations. Work with HR, outsourced provider and Payroll teams as needed to gather this data/information. Answer and resolve follow-on queries relating to data quality.
- Assisting in the recommendation of pension increases for international pensions. Coordinate the implementation and communication of these increases to departments and to pensioners within required deadlines.
- Review and validate pension data to ensure correct pension codes are held on the HR system for employees. Work with HR teams to resolve any errors and check with Payroll teams contributions are being or not being paid (where relevant).
- Generating system reports and carrying out membership data reconciliations to ensure that international pension data on providers systems compared to HR and Payroll systems correlate with one another. Work with the Group Pensions team to liaise with other internal departments and suppliers where necessary to ensure the impact of errors made is fully understood and correction processes agreed.
- Ad hoc Projects - to undertake or help in special projects undertaken by the Group Pensions Department
- To assist with the contribution, pay over process for the UK.
- Ensures documentation/data/information and tasks are planned, evaluated and processed in accordance with local business requirements and agreed deadlines.
- Assist in gathering information from other departments and sources to aid Pension understanding and processes.
- Undertake any other ad hoc tasks as necessary.
