**Designation**: Junior Associate / Associate Finance

**Employment Type**:Independent Contractor** /** Full time Permanent.

**Location**: Kochi / Hybrid

**Workdays**: Monday to Friday

Work Time: 10am to 7pm IST

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with the preparation and review of operating budgets, financial statements, and reports.
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded on time.
- Verification of daily transactions
- Daily updating of accounts receivable.
- Issue invoices, update accounts payables, and perform reconciliations.
- Analysing financial data and assisting with audits, reviews, and tax preparations.
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports, as required.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
- Assist in any other ad hoc projects as required.
- Assist in preparing monthly data for GSTR filings.

- 3 years proven experience as a junior accountant.
- Good Communication skill and team player
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Excellent knowledge in Tally, Quickbooks, Zoho and MS Office
- Qualifications Graduate
- Knowledge in filing GST &TDS

**Roles**:

- To ensure that all the information they handle is secure.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible to follow all the information security policies, procedures, rules and regulations as stipulated in the manuals.
- Responsible to take immediate action to prevent any undesirable situations and report to the officers.
- Responsible to take part in their assigned role in the event of an emergency situation.

**Authority**:

- To report any security incident or weaknesses, which comes to their knowledge.

**Contract Staff**:

- Responsible to follow the rules and regulations and move within the area specified.
- Responsible to obey the instructions for all the officers and staff regarding the work and in emergency situations.
- Responsible to report any undesirable incidents.
