Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, cook, and present authentic South Indian dishes, including dosa, idli, sambar, chutneys, biryanis, and curries.Develop and design new menu items that highlight South Indian flavors and ingredients.Ensure all food is prepared and presented in line with restaurant standards.Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen.Source and manage spices and ingredients essential to South Indian cooking, ensuring freshness and quality.Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet the demands of the kitchen and maintain a smooth workflow.Manage portion sizes and food costs, minimizing waste and ensuring optimal kitchen operations.QualificationsProven experience as a South Indian Chef or in a similar role in a reputable restaurant.In-depth knowledge of South Indian cuisine, spices, and traditional cooking techniques.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.Culinary certification or relevant training in South Indian cuisine is preferred.Excellent time-management skills and attention to detail.Strong team player with good communication skills.Preferred SkillsKnowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards.Creative approach to adapting traditional recipes to modern dining trends.Familiarity with regional variations in South Indian cuisine (Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana).Salary & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.Opportunities for career growth within the culinary team.Employee discounts and meals on duty.Health benefits and paid time off., PermanentLocation: Clover Greens Golf course and Resort
