This recruitment is for our Company which is a fast growing financial consulting firm with global clients.
The Company is looking for a Finance Executive.
This role will hold responsibility for coordination and successful completion of accounting, compliance and payroll support to clients. You will be hands on with accounting processes and procedures, posting journal entries, leading annual book closure and audit coordination, using accounting tools such as Tally / Zoho books / Zoho payroll, filing statutory returns (GST, TDS, PF, ESI), attending to hearings with statutory authorities and helping draft responses and processing monthly payroll accurately and on time.
**What will you be doing?**
Execute accounting and compliance tasks:
Customer invoicing and revenue accounting, receivables and collections accounting, reconciliation and reporting;
Vendor bill booking and expense accounting, payables accounting, payments, reconciliation and reporting;
Computing and filing monthly, quarterly and annual returns to support direct and indirect tax compliance (such as TDS, GST) as well as attend to legal notices and hearings with tax authorities;
Handle monthly payroll and related benefits accounting and payments (such as PF, ESI, Gratuity, Prof Tax, TDS);
Month-end book closing including accruals, journal entries, BRS, account reconciliations, P&L & Balance Sheet preparation and analysis
Preparation of schedules and coordination for completion of Statutory Audit, Tax Audit and tax return filing
Other client support activities as needed;
Report process issues, identify the root-cause and implement corrective actions to fix issues permanently;
Ensure continuous focus on quality and controls as part of delivery.
**What were looking for?**
A Semi qualified Chartered Accountant with 3 years of articleship experience plus 1-3 years of post-articleship experience in a CA or accounting services firm.
Knowledge of accounting, tax compliance and payroll processes
Aptitude to manage client communications sensitively and ability to set and clarify expectations internally within the organisation and with clients
Ability to build trust with clients as a go-to person to resolve their issues and high levels of commitment to meet service level expectations
Excellent planning and organising skills to handle work delegation and follow-up to completion seamlessly
Ability to partner with internal teams to get work done
A quick learner with a track record of being actively learning / acquiring knowledge, skills and attitude
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent MS-Excel skills with ability to manage data and develop and show-case useful insights
