**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Storytelling**: Craft engaging stories that reflect the essence of Burma Burma’s brand, including the history of Burmese cuisine, behind-the-scenes stories, chef interviews, and food culture.
- **SEO Optimization**: Ensure all content is optimized for search engines, using appropriate keywords and staying up-to-date with SEO best practices.
- **Social Media Content**: Collaborate with the social media team to create compelling captions, posts, and stories that drive engagement and build our online community.
- **Content Calendar**: Assist in developing and managing a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of content across all channels.
- **Brand Voice**: Maintain and refine Burma Burma’s brand voice across all content, ensuring consistency in tone, style, and messaging.
- **Research**: Stay informed about trends in the food and restaurant industry to produce relevant and current content.
- **Editing & Proofreading**: Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency, ensuring that all materials meet the highest quality standards.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the marketing, design, and operations teams to align content with overall marketing strategies and business objectives.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience as a content writer, preferably within the restaurant, food & beverage, or hospitality industry.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Experience in SEO best practices and content optimization.
- Ability to write in a clear, engaging, and creative manner that appeals to a diverse audience.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
- Strong research skills and the ability to stay on top of industry trends.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and operations.
