**Job Description**:
We're looking for an experienced Mainframe Systems Programmer to join our Experian IT Services function.

Within the team, you will be responsible for z/OS, JES2, Vendor supplied software and support the general health of the mainframe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- z/OS system software installation, maintenance and configuration
- Hardware configuration
- z/OS Security software installation, maintenance and configuration - certificates, USS etc. As part of this role, you will be required to be on call 1 in 5 weeks.

Skills and Technology Requirements
- z/OS installation & configuration
- HCD and experience of z15/z16, cart and disk infrastructure deliveries
- Security and certificates including encryption, ciphers, etc
- Assembler and user exit coding
- Unix Systems Services
- Broad ISV exposure, including Broadcom and BMC products
- SMPE
- WLM
- TSO/ISPF
- REXX
- Parallel SYSPLEX
- Excellent problem solving skills combined with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- 10+ years experience of z/OS systems programming
