Key Responsibilities

Mold Design
- Design and develop injection molds, slider molds, and blow molds using NX Pro 24 software.
- Create detailed 3D models and complex surface geometries, ensuring high-quality, precise mold designs that meet production requirements.
- Integrate slider mechanisms within molds for handling undercuts and optimizing mold functionality.
- Design blow molds, focusing on material flow, cooling channels, and air paths for efficient production of hollow plastic parts.

Surfacing
- Utilize advanced surfacing skills to develop complex and freeform surfaces in the mold design process, ensuring smooth and accurate geometries for mold fabrication.
- Work with both parametric and freeform surfacing techniques to create molds that meet design specifications.

CAM Integration
- Coordinate with the CAM team to prepare machining processes, toolpath creation, and CNC programming for mold manufacturing.
- Ensure that the mold design is optimized for CNC machining, and communicate design considerations to VMC programmers.
- Collaborate with CNC operators to fine-tune designs and address any machining challenges.
- Collaboration & Coordination:

- Work closely with die fitters to ensure proper mold assembly, fitting, and troubleshooting during the production phase.
- Liaise with VMC programmers to ensure that machining operations align with design requirements and tolerances.
- Provide technical support and advice to the manufacturing team, ensuring smooth workflow from design to production.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Extensive experience with NX Pro 24 (Siemens NX) software, specifically in mold design.
- Strong expertise in designing injection molds, slider molds, and blow molds.
- Advanced knowledge of surfacing techniques, including freeform and parametric surfacing.
- Familiarity with CAM processes and CNC machining.
- Experience coordinating with die fitters and VMC programmers to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with complex mold assembly and troubleshooting during the production process.
- Familiarity with additional CAD/CAE software tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
- Knowledge of mold optimization techniques for improved efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
