Job description - Purchase Engineer

Job Description / Responsibilities
- Good Knowledge of purchase related activities.
- Good Knowledge of purchase for raw material, Electrical & Mechanical Bought - Out - Part.
- If any urgency for material procurement, inform the PO no. to supplier verbally then send hard copy accordingly.
- Release the purchase orders / service agreements to the suppliers
- Clearly mention the all the necessary purchasing details (material specs / delivery schedule / price / Test certificate / Third party inspection / commercial requirement / any form requirement etc.)
- Follow the procedure for Vendor selection for including of any new supplier or new material from Existing supplier
- Periodically do the vendor rating as per the defined intervals
- Maintain the minimum stock level for the Consumables
- Procure the material as per Purchase guide line
- Ensure timely availability of the outside process material as per production plan requirement
- Maintain all purchase related records.
- Get quotations from multiple suppliers for Existing Raw material as well as First time raw materials
- Regular follow up with all suppliers on pending orders for the delivery schedule
- Arrange for the vehicle planning in advance as well as emergency basis for the material availability
- Min. 2- 5year of experience in Purchase Department
- Good Time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)

- Graduate in any discipline

Prefer - BE. Mechanical or Diploma

Sheet Metal & Fabrication

Must be worked in Pharmaceutical/Cosmetic/Food manufacturing industry.
