**Roles and Responsibilities**
- To systematically study target users with the aim to collect and analyse data that will help inform the user experience (UX) design process for creating a new product or improving the UX of an existing product
- Reveal what users need from our products by conducting research, working with cross-functional teams, and performing usability studies. These responsibilities also include, evaluating qualitative and quantitative data, delivering presentations and helping the UX team better understand what would make a user’s experience more intuitive, accessible, and seamless.
- Work with Designers, Users and external stakeholders like the Vehicle Validation teams to ensure our products and interfaces are easy to use, safe and effective.
- To understand the company, its vision/mission, Products in offering, Target users, Users’ expectations, Competitor offerings, Technology and IPR available & their trends
- Understand product specifications and user psychology
- Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback from users
- Create personas through user research and data
- Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success through user testing
- Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs
- Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, discoverability, gamification, etc.)
- To visualize and create attractive graphical and other UI designs
- Consolidate the feedback and share the final input to external stakeholders
- Communication skills: work with the design team and communicate with research participants to answer research questions.
- Empathy: Understanding a user’s expectations, frustrations, goals, and reasoning process to help you develop solutions for real user needs.
- Design thinking: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test
- Problem solving: Thinking critically about what questions you’re trying to answer with your research to select the appropriate methodology.
- Curiosity: to ask insightful questions and discover meaningful insights.
- Collaboration: Be a team player and collaborate within the team as well as with external stakeholders.
