- Responsible for the production activities.
- Responsible for preparing, reviewing the instructions to produce intermediates or APIs according to written procedures.
- Producing APIs and, when appropriate, intermediates according to pre
- approved instructions.
- Responsible for reporting of production deviations and evaluation. Also responsible for investigation of critical deviations and recording of the conclusions.
- Responsible for the maintaining premises and equipment and maintaining records.
- Responsible for the validation protocols and reports. Also responsible for review of the same.
- Evaluating proposed changes in product, process, or equipment.
- Responsible for qualification of new and, when appropriate, modified facilities and equipments.
- Ensure that all the documents related to the Production activities are maintained & updated
- Ensure that all the employees of production are trained and evaluated time to time
- Ensure that the yield and quality as per the standard norms
- Ensure the participation in all validation exercises.
- Responsible for Analyzing manpower requirement and organizing in consultation with HR
- Responsible for self-inspection of the area w.r.t EHS and production systems.
- Responsible for water consumption & management of effluent generation related to production activities.
- Responsible to evaluate Change Control Initiation Form, Temporary Change Control, Deviations and Risk Assessment of his area.
- Adhere to monthly production plan and submit monthly production reports.
- Submit monthly reports on equipment occupancy plan.
- Evaluating proposed changes in product, process, equipment, or facility.
- Review Monthly Raw Material Plan.
- To ensure compliance of GMP norms.
- Having good knowledge of SAP.
- Review Monthly RM Variance Report and ask for explanation for any noticeable changes.
- Review sales projection and give feedback based on production plan.
- Review all CAPA.
- Review material rejections and status of actions initiated thereafter.
- Review Utility requirement of the plant and suggest energy conservation projects from time to time.
- Advise, plan continual improvement w.r.t Product Quality, Quantity (Yield), Time cycle, Solvent Recoveries etc.
- Advise, plan to reduce waste generation across the product line.
- Working out AOP and monitoring on monthly, quarterly basis.
- Responsible for yield improvement projects, cost optimization, reduction in breakdown, capacity utilization improvement, batch time cycle reduction, improvement in planning and working.
