**Job Title: Purchase cum Store Assistant**

**Department**: Purchase & Stores (preferred in Gas/Engineering industry).
**Location**: Vasai **Experience**: 1 Years
**Pay Range**: ₹20,000 per month

**Job Summary**

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented **Purchase cum Store Assistant** to manage procurement activities and store operations in our gas manufacturing facility. The role requires handling vendor coordination, purchase documentation, material inventory, and ensuring timely availability of raw materials, consumables, and spare parts for smooth production operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Purchasing**:

- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for raw materials, consumables, and engineering spares.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company requirements.
- Ensure timely follow-up with vendors for delivery schedules.
- Maintain records of purchase, pricing, and supplier information.
- Support cost reduction and vendor development initiatives.

**Store Management**:

- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies.
- Maintain stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Issue materials to production/maintenance as per requirement.
- Keep accurate records of stock movement (inward & outward).
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and labeling of materials.

**General**:

- Coordinate with Accounts for bills, GRNs, and vendor payments.
- Assist in audits related to purchase and store functions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and documentation procedures.

**Key Skills & Competencies**
- Knowledge of purchase processes and store management practices.
- Familiarity with ERP/Inventory Management Software (Tally / SAP / Zoho, etc.).
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards in handling industrial materials (preferred in Gas/Engineering industry).

**Qualifications**
- Graduate / Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in purchase and store handling, preferably in manufacturing/engineering/gas industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
