**Reporting To**: Supply Chain Manager / Production Head

**Job Summary**:
The Vendor Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating with vendors and suppliers in the footwear industry. The role involves ensuring timely sourcing, quality checks, price negotiations, order follow-ups, and maintaining smooth communication between vendors and internal departments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers for raw materials, components, and packaging.
- Negotiate terms, prices, timelines, and quality standards with vendors.
- Ensure timely placement of purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
- Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.
- Coordinate with the design, production, and quality teams for sampling, approvals, and bulk orders.
- Resolve supply chain issues, delays, or quality discrepancies with vendors.
- Maintain updated records of vendor contracts, agreements, and performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing, and industry standards.
- Assist in cost optimization and inventory control through effective vendor management.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure long-term partnerships.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of sourcing, procurement, and vendor management in the footwear industry.
- Good understanding of raw materials such as leather, synthetics, fabrics, soles, adhesives, etc.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and vendor management tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration / Footwear Technology or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in vendor coordination, preferably in the footwear or apparel industry.
- Experience in vendor negotiations and supply chain coordination.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
