**Responsibilities**
- Ensure Company-owned and operated vessels conform with Class and Statutory regulations and have valid vessel and client certifications - Coordinate travel, crew changes, and other personnel concerns with the Vessel Master and Crewing team. Monitor crew overlap days, crew compliance with Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping (STCW 95) and its amendments, Maritime Labour Convention 2006 (MLC), and other training requirements, and vessel planned maintenance system.
- Ensure that International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) guidelines and best industry practices for vessel Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations, equipment, and personnel are followed at all times.
- Attend annual DP and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) trials of existing and new vessels - Conduct on-board training for officers and crew - Visit locations for taking over new build vessels or inspect vessels, as required by the Management, for compliance with Class and Statutory regulation
- Audit boats internally and externally to ensure compliance with the Company Safety Management System (SMS)
- Perform internal Offshore Vessel Inspection Database (OVID) inspections in preparation for all charterers - Execute activities within approved vessel's budget guidelines and communicate any deviations to Line Manager - Assist in In-house Training on Ship Handling/DP simulator - Ensure operations/work processes comply with all relevant legal, regulatory, and any other standards and requirements to which compliance is required - Perform job duties

**Requirements**:
Unlimited STCW II/2 Master Mariner license Professional Experience:
Minimum 3 years of Master tanker experience is necessary.

Minimum 1 year of shore experience is desired.

Well versed in MS Office and data management

Business-fluent English (both written and spoken)

Good marine industry practices
