**Job Description**:
Create appropriate test scenarios and test cases by understanding the
business use cases and the functional specifications. Ensure boundary/edge
conditions, negative scenarios, etc. are covered in the scenarios/ cases
ï‚- Create appropriate test data for the same
ï‚- Work with the business analysts to get the test scenarios, cases & test
data reviewed and validated
ï‚- Work with the Testing Project Manager to develop reasonable test plans
and provide feasible time estimates for test planning and execution
ï‚- Execute test plans in adherence to the agreed schedule
ï‚- Track issues and work with project managers, development teams, and other
stakeholders to resolve issues
ï‚- Conduct and participate in project health check reviews, with appropriate
stakeholders
ï‚- Adapt and adhere to Nomura standard test document templates and
methodology
ï‚- Support program management team in overall governance for the project by
ensuring regular project updates to all relevant stakeholders via Working
Groups and Steering Committees; preparing the necessary presentations for
the same
ï‚- Track the progress of the project to be in line with agreed milestones
and timelines. Establishing and adhering to the escalation matrix in
situations where necessary
ï‚- Willingness to work in the EMEA shift and willingness to travel is
essential.

Mandatory
4-8 years of relevant industry experience in the testing domain. Experience
in the Financial industry is mandatory. Experience in Asset Management
domain (custody/ trade processing, fund administration, transfer agency,
etc.) is highly desirable
ï‚- Experience in testing for large system migration projects will be a huge
advantage
ï‚- Hands-on experience of using Test Management Tools, ex. Quality Center,
etc
ï‚- Development experience on Test Automation tools such as QTP is desirable
ï‚- Very good analytical ability '“ ability to cut through fluff/symptoms and
get to the core of the issue; ability to understand the whole picture, etc.
ï‚- Very good knowledge of MS Office tools like MSExcel & MS Powerpoint Soft
