Job Summary:

We are seeking a Manual QA Engineer with hands-on experience in the trading domain, specifically with exposure to FIX Protocol, Algorithmic Trading, RMS, or OMS. The ideal candidate should possess strong domain knowledge and solid manual testing skills to validate complex trading workflows, order lifecycles, and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and functional specifications related to trading systems.
  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases for new and existing functionalities.
  • Perform end-to-end testing of trading workflows including order placement, modification, cancellation, execution, and settlement.
  • Validate FIX messages for various order types and execution scenarios.
  • Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Managers to understand functionality and ensure test coverage.
  • Conduct Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, and Sanity Testing for regular releases.
  • Identify, report, and track bugs/defects in defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Perform log analysis and database validation to support testing activities.
  • Participate in UAT and production verification when needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of manual testing experience in the capital markets/trading domain.
  • Strong understanding of trading concepts, order lifecycle, asset classes (equities, derivatives, FX, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience working with FIX Protocol knowledge of FIX tags, message types, and validation.
  • Exposure to Algorithmic Trading Platforms, OMS, or RMS is essential.
  • Experience testing APIs, back-end systems, or integration points between OMS/RMS/Exchange gateways.
  • Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, FIX analyzers, Postman, or similar.Role & responsibilities
