**About the role**:
**The Global Finance Partner - Capital Allocation** is part of the Capital Allocation Team and is instrumental in setting up the reporting structure, assessing capital project proposals, auditing projects and building valuation models to drive consistency in the way of working across the company.
- Assist in quarterly reporting to BGE (dashboarding, capex projects status, peers bench marking)
- Highlight & explain variances and provide pro-active insights on deviations. Check forecasting reliability of capital forecasts.
- KPI follow up of active projects to ensure proper execution and delivery in line with made commitments.
- Build & maintain standardized templates and dashboards... valuation models, CAR template for project evaluation assessment, e.g., related to M&A transactions, capex projects.
- Contribute to M&A transactions in valuation and financial due diligence of the targets
- Project proposal assessments and building business cases for stakeholders in coordination with BUs.
- Support the BU with strategic projects, such as footprint review, greenfield business cases, Bold moves.
- Audits of projects to ensure adherence to policies & procedures
- Assisting in the development and refinement of the company's capital allocation framework and policies, while continuously enhancing capital expenditure (CAPEX) processes.
- Ad-hoc financial analysis.

**About You**:
**Essential skills & competencies**:

- Educational Qualifications & Experience: _
- CA, CPA or MBA
- Master’s degree or above, majoring in finance or related field.
- Preferably prior financial analyst experience across a complex global enterprise of significant scale, in a global international environment. Preferably in manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience with capital projects, such as Capital expenditure business cases, M&A transactions, payback calculations, project audits.
- Demonstrated track record of success and reporting excellence.
- Technical Skills_
- Expert in MS Office excel, Excel power pivot & power point presentation skills.
- Microsoft Power BI Knowledge preferred.
- Soft Skills_
- Business understanding. Ability to analyze complex information, draw logical conclusions about business implications and identify actions.
- Problem-solving & analytical way of thinking.
- Ability to prioritize & organize workload. Proactively identify risks & escalate when required.
- Good (written & verbal) communication skills. Ability to present and explain financial results in a credible, professional manner to wide variety of audiences.
- Ability to work in a virtual team setting and working with different teams and cultures.
- Cross functional & Project Management Skills.
- Ability to work under time bound pressures. Can-do attitude with commitment for meeting deadlines.
