**About the Role**

At Xylem, we believe students achieve their best when they feel supported—both academically and personally. As a Learning Mentor, you will serve as a guide, motivator, and trusted listener for students. You’ll help them stay focused on their studies, navigate challenges, and work closely with teachers and families to create a nurturing and encouraging learning environment.

**Key Responsibilities1. Support & Motivate Students**
- Build strong, positive relationships with students to foster both academic and personal growth.
- Lead engaging activities outside the classroom that promote character, confidence, and teamwork.
- Be a trusted presence and a supportive point of contact for students when they need guidance.

**2. Monitor Academic Progress**
- Regularly check students’ academic performance and identify strengths as well as areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop simple, focused learning support plans.
- Follow up with students to ensure steady progress and sustained motivation.

**3. Collaborate with Parents**
- Keep parents updated on their child’s academic and personal development.
- Participate in meetings to share progress reports and plan strategies for student success.
- Offer practical suggestions to help parents support learning at home.

**4. Maintain Student Records**
- Keep accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior.
- Use basic digital tools to track performance and adapt support plans when necessary.
- Ensure reports are clear, up-to-date, and accessible for the team.
