Key responsibilities of a bodyshop advisor:
- **Customer Service**: Greeting customers, addressing their needs, answering inquiries, and managing their expectations throughout the repair process.
- **Repair Estimates**: Reviewing the damage to vehicles, gathering information, and providing detailed estimates for repair costs and timeframes.
- **Scheduling Repairs**: Coordinating repair appointments and ensuring that the shop’s schedule is managed efficiently.
- **Liaison Between Customers and Technicians**: Communicating repair details and progress to customers, and ensuring the technicians have the necessary information to complete the job.
- **Insurance Claims**: Assisting with insurance claims, verifying coverage, and working with insurance adjusters to ensure smooth claim processing.
- **Parts Ordering**: Ensuring that necessary parts for repairs are ordered and available in time for scheduled work.
- **Customer Updates**: Keeping customers informed about the repair status, handling any issues or delays, and arranging for the vehicle's return once repairs are completed.
