**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct Sedex Member Ethical Trade Audits (SMETA) or support the audit team in preparation for the same.
- Ensure compliance with Sedex standards related to labor, health & safety, environmental, and business ethics.
- Review and analyze audit reports, identify non-conformities, and develop corrective action plans (CAP).
- Maintain accurate audit records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure audit schedules and requirements are met.
- Assist in implementing corrective actions and follow-up on the closure of non-compliance issues.
- Keep up to date with changes in Sedex and SMETA standards, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- Support the development and improvement of internal policies related to ethical compliance and sustainability.

**Required Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 6 months of experience in Sedex audits, SMETA, or related ethical compliance roles.
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Environmental Studies, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with Sedex platform and reporting processes.
- Strong understanding of ethical trade, social compliance, and sustainability practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Report writing skills

**Preferred**:

- Certification in Sedex or SMETA auditing is a plus.
- Experience in supply chain management or corporate social responsibility (CSR).

**Salary**: 15k to 18k
