**Location**: New Delhi, India

**Experience**: 3-5 years

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Draft, review, and negotiate legal contract documents, including End User License Agreements, Vendor Agreements, Master Service Agreements and Statements of Work, Data processing agreements, privacy statements, and Terms of Service.
- Advise the company's different functions & operations on mitigating legal risk in the commercial context.
- Advice on best practices and compliance with global privacy and data protection laws, overseeing legal and regulatory aspects of data collection and use, privacy disclosures and transparency, and related issues.
- Stay abreast of regulatory developments affecting the SaaS industry and advise the company on compliance requirements.
- Continuously review and update legal processes, policies, and procedures to adapt to changes in the legal landscape and industry best practices.
- Develop, implement, and maintain standard templates of the agreements and forms.
- Assist in maintaining a contracts repository.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in law from a reputed college with 3-5 years of prior combined law firm and in-house experience, specifically in general corporate advisory, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating IT/ITES contracts, and data privacy.
- Sound knowledge of the extant data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) & CCPA.
- Demonstrated cross-functional communication and working with teams at various levels of an organization.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively, recognize the quick turn-around requirements, work independently with mínimal supervision, and take responsibility.
- Builds strong relationships with local and global colleagues.
- Team player, personable, and approachable.
