**Responsibilities**
- Give accurate and timely counsel to all business segments in variety of legal topics in relation to claims and disputes pertaining to the projects
- Draft and solidify contracts (and other documents) to ensure the company’s full legal rights
- Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations
- Researching and anticipating unique legal issues that could impact the company
- Negotiating, writing and executing various agreements on behalf of the company
- Communicate & negotiate with external parties (external counsel, public authority etc.)
- Collaborating with management to devise efficient defence strategies
- Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to stakeholders in the organization
- Provide support on corporate, commercial and special projects
- Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legal arena
- Legal research and training on new laws and regulations that may affect the business

**Key Requirements**:
- Must have a law degree from a recognized university
- 10+ years of experience gained in large law firm and/or in-house with major firm. Relevant in-house experience in an MNC (preferred)
- Experience in Infrastructure, Construction Laws
- Experience in general corporate advisory
- Experience in supporting diverse contracts like EPC contracts, Sub-contract Agreements, Amendments, Extensions, NDAs, Purchase Orders, Consultancy Agreements, MOU etc.
- Briefed senior counsels for matters and have hands-on experience in handling disputes before arbitration/tribunal
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization
- Strong negotiating skills with both legal and financial/commercial issues
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity
- Sound judgement and ability to analyse situations and information
